MCA Ag Group has a position available for a permanent fulltime Farm Operations Manager on a large scale irrigated and dryland cotton farm in the Goondiwindi area.   

This role will initially be to assist our Regional Farm Manager with the on-farm operational management of an aggregation of irrigated and dryland farms in the area. It has the potential to lead to other management roles, or a Farm Manager’s role in different operations as opportunities develop. 

Responsibilities will include the implementation and monitoring of day-to-day functions on the farm, management of staff, and operation of our modern irrigated and dryland farm equipment.

You will also be required to coordinate the movement of contractors on farm, and perform maintenance on farm equipment as necessary.

The successful applicant will have a sound understanding of dryland broadacre and irrigated cotton farming practices, as well as extensive broadacre and irrigated machinery experience. 

Proficient computer skills and an interest in utilising technology would be well regarded, but not essential.

• An understanding of and commitment to Workplace Health & Safety;
• Current Drivers Licence.
